JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies: Identify and target potential customers within the construction industry, including heavy civil, bridge, highway and rail contractors. Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets, expand the customer base, and maximize market penetration.
- Build and maintain client relationships: Establish strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and challenges. Provide product demonstrations, technical expertise, and comprehensive information about ABtech’s construction technology products. Proactively address client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Drive sales growth: Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and other sales strategies. Conduct product presentations and sales meetings to showcase the benefits and features of ABtech’s technology solutions. Close sales deals, negotiate contracts, and achieve or exceed sales quotas on a consistent basis.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Continuously stay informed about the latest trends, advancements, and competitive landscape in construction technology. Understand customer pain points and industry requirements to effectively position ABtech’s products as solutions that meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer support teams to align sales efforts, share market insights, and gather feedback. Provide input on product development, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales records: Utilize CRM systems and other sales tools to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management, demonstrating progress against targets and identifying areas for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in technical sales representation, and business development (strong asset)
- Knowledge of heavy construction
- Experience using GPS/GNSS, Total Stations, and/or Machine Control
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Curiosity and interest in learning technology products
- Recognized ability in negotiation and proven ability to work in a team
- Availability, creativity, autonomy and leadership
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and be flexible for variable schedules and to travel within your territory (New York State)
